22,000 iPhones Pre-Orders in 2 Days in Korea
iPhone Bonanza in Korea!
With it’s target of selling 500,000 iPhones in Korea, KT has already gotten a good start. They have 22,000 pre-orders from it’s website. Many news sources have headlines reading, “15,000 units sold in the first day,” or “22,000 iPhones sold in 2 days,” but these are only orders.
This is early in the game, but…..
Do you think KT will reach its sales target of 500,000 iPhones in the first year?

I expect some kind of strong reaction if the numbers keep going up, something in the line of “Buy Korean”. In fact, many potential buyers are kept away with rumors of new and better models to be released soon.

Well, despite the horrid data plans, I am actually going to get a iPhone 3GS. And if I (a bloke who suffers no contract) get one, no telling how many people will flock to this. But the data plan is horrendous.
